Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed for the accelerated construction work on the swat motorway, the acquisition of remaining land under the project, the oil refinery in Karak and the cement factory in Haripur. He also directed to make all arrangements to formally inaugurate Peshawar and Rashakai Smart Cities. Provincial Government would formally inaugurate the launch and putting the projects that included roads communication net work, Swat Express way, Oil Refinery, Peshawar and Rashakai Smart City, Hydro Power Project in Chitral. Naran and Land down transmission line, production of electricity out of the completed 100 mmcf gas at Khittar Rashakai and D.I.Khan. he also directed the FWO to clear the liabilities of the Provincial Government and accelerate work on both sides of the Swat Express Way in order to complete it within the time tag. He was presiding over a meeting on the roads communication net work, Swat Express way, Oil Refinery, Peshawar and Rashakai Smart City, Hydro Power Projects in Chitral. Provincial Ministers Akbar Ayub, Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi, Dr. Amjad, Malak Qasim MPA Gul Sahib Khan, Administrative Secretaries representative of FWO attended. The Chief Minister directed the concern quarters to ensure land acquisition for different developmental schemes including roads, cement factory, Housing schemes oil refinery, Hydro power project and take all pre-requisite for the smooth implementation of these projects. He directed the concerned quarter to resolve these problems within a week as his government would not allow any irritant in the facilitation of investors and the setting up of industrial units throughout the Province. he asked the FWO to expedite the survey and take all other steps to formally inaugurate the cement plant, the Oil Refinery Rashakai and Peshawar Smart Cities and the Hydro Power Projects as per agreed formula. The Chief Minister ensured the Provincial Government would go all out for the facilitation of FWO but within the frame work of agreements and laws. Regarding the Hydro Power Projects in Chitral and Naran, the Chief Minister asked the FWO to plan the transmission line right from the project side to Chakdara. His government has already initiated a number of Hydro Power Projects in the Province that would produce more than five thousand mega watt of electricity and after completion these would go to the national grid. He directed the concerned quarter to prepare a transmission policy for connecting the Hydro Power Project sides to the main transmission line. Regarding the gas converting for electricity production purpose in Hattar, Rashakai and DI Khan Economic Zone in the wake of CPEC, the Chief Minister said that the 100 mmcf that he won from the Federal Government as the share of the Province because this province produces gas more than its need his government made agreement with Chinese companies to produce electricity needed meaningful implementation. He directed to monitor the speed and process of the work on these projects. He assured FWO, his government could facilitate its offer for investment in such like projects in the Province. Pervez Khattak directed the quarter concerned to accelerate the process of land acquisition and remove the obstacles obstructing the speed of implementation on these projects. He directed them to set together, review the challenges and find out a legally acceptable course to follow. He also directed to look into the replacement of proposed linking road to the Peshawar Smart City with another suitable road he added. Regarding other roads opening the whole of Scenic Galyat, the Chief Minister directed to plan it and the government within its resources would try to negotiate with FWO for a joint venture, if feasible. The Chief Minister directed FWO to complete the Swat Express Way towards the end of March as per agreement. The representative of FWO informed that another heavy drilling machine had started work and hopefully the progress would get double and the whole project would be completed under the timeline. ===
