1976 schools were found without building.

Enrollment attendance Gap in March was 47%. In April it was reduced to 25% while in May it was further reduced to 21%.

Teacher Absenteeism was 31% in March, 19% in April and 18% in May. But it must be kept in mind that teachers posted in 2526 schools found closed are not counted in determining this percentage. IMU is working with district education authorities to work out the number and particulars of the teaching and non-teaching staff posted in closed schools and a separate report shall be submitted containing those details.

253 schools were found illegally occupied either partially or wholly.

3410 schools were found closed in the month of March while in April number dropped to 2542. Now in May 2526 schools were reported as closed.

106 schools had no teacher posted in them.
