Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that the corrupt politicians had never thought to be held accountable for the misdeeds and corruption they had been committing and that led the institutions to be in total disarray. Imran Khan deserved to be credited for bringing these corrupt politicians to be exposed and in the process took the legal course for their disqualification from the court. He regretted that the political elite had been running this country like monarchs. Imran Khan gave a platform to the youth to bring a real change. The youth rallied around Imran Khan and supported him to facilitate his change that is the change of system and the change of governance and gave relief to the people, he added. He was addressing two public gatherings at Nizmapur and Union Council Enzari after formally inaugurating Marobi Dam Khwara Nizampur which would cost Rs.1.5 billion. MNA Imran Khattak, Provincial Minister Mian Jamshedudin Kakakhel, MPA Idrees Khattak, district members Amin Zada, Falak Naz, Zulfiqar Khattak, Tehsil Naib Nazim Jehangera Hameedullah Khattak and others also addressed the gathering. On this occasion Riaz Khattak, Zahoor Khattak, Rashid Khattak, Hazrat Hussain and Ijaz Khattak alongwith their families and friends joined PTI. The Chief Minister addressing these gatherings credited Imran Khan for rescuing the people from the clutches of corrupt politicians Adding that this country is destined to be ruled by an honest leadership like Imran Khan. His government brought about reforms unparallel in the history of the province. He compared his governance with others and claimed to have the best ever governance in the history of province. The pro people initiatives and the policy for the poor people had enhanced the popularity of PTI and NA-4 election defeat of the opponent at the hands of the PTI candidate proved the upward trend of PTI popularity claiming that PTI would form government at centre and provinces after the coming elections on the basis of its delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa he added. Pervez Khattak said his government focused on its manifesto to bring about the promised change and resolve the people grievances. He said that small dam at Nizampur costing Rs. 1.5 billion would irrigate 3000 acres of land and assured the construction of 18 km long route. He assured that affectees of the Dam would be given free water for irrigation purposes. Legitimizing the construction of small dams ,the Chief Minister said that small dams were environmental friendly and more beneficial for irrigational purposes. He said that we cannot ignore the importance of developmental work but the more important areas to focus on was the resolution of people grievances and ensuring responsible and responsive governance. If the people wanted constant development, they have to stop the corrupt politicians reaching the corridor of power through exercise of their votes against them. The ball was now in the court of the people and they have to pass it on to the honest politicians for a clean hit to get a meaningful and decisive point against corruption and irregularities and that would lead the transparency to win in the overall estimation of the game of governance.
