Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has welcomed the joining of Mehboob Ali Khan, Senior Vice President PML-N Nowshera along with other leaders and workers of the party to the ranks of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI). He termed it unshakable confidence of the masses over the dynamic leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan as well as 4-year people-friendly services and policies of the provincial government.
He was addressing a gathering of the party workers at Chief Minister House Peshawar wherein a number of PML-N leaders and activists announced to join PTI and reposed full confidence in the central and provincial leadership of their new party. Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation Mian Jamsheddin Kakakhel, District Nazim Nowshera Liaqat Khan Khattak, MNA Dr. Imran Khattak, Parliamentary Secretary for P&D MIan Khaleequr Rehman Khattak, District Naib Nazim Ashfaq Ahmad, PTI Senior Vice President Saleem Mujahid, Vice President Nisar Khan and Tehsil Nazim Ahad Khattak also addressed and welcomed the new comers to the PTI folds.
Pervez Khattak said that it was prerequisite to rid the country of the corrupt elements and bring the honest leadership to the forefronts to ensure prosperity of the masses. He said that Imran Khan was the only political leader who has a clean background. He said Imran Khan has entered the political arena with a spirit of changing the system and ameliorating lot of the poor.
The Chief Minister said that Pakistan has become big attraction for foreign investment due to restoration of peace in the country. However, he regretted that the investors avoid to invest here due to corrupt rulers and rusty system. He deplored that how the foreign and local investors could show confidence for investment in a country that was ruled by disqualified prime minister like Nawaz Sharif and corrupt president like Asif Zardari. He said it was essential to eliminate all such corrupt elements for restoring confidence of the world.
