Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has criticized the federal government for its stubbornace stopping the flow of the share and resources of the province that delayed the developmental schemes. This province suffered because of terrorism, poverty and backwardness and the federal government maltreatment to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was totally unjustified and was dishonesty. This province expected magnanimity for getting its resources on time. He warned the federal government that if it did not give resources to the province as per its share then he would march to Islamabad for a Dharna and he would appeal to other political forces to join him in the achievement of provincial rights. He was talking to the 200 member grand Jirga of district Dir Bala which met the Chief Minister in the CM Secretariat Peshawar. The Jirga was led by PTI Malakand Division President and provincial Minister for Sports Mehmood Khan and Parliamentary Secretary for Environment Haji Fazle Illahi. They demanded for different developmental schemes in road communication and other sectors and demanded a Tehsil at Larjum in Upper Dir. The Chief Minister said that he was aware of the backwardness of the district and the lack of facilities in the area. He said that he would provide everything to mitigate their problems. He said his province was dependant on the center for its 90% resources which was its right. However, the 10% resource that the province generated was not enough to remove the backwardness of the province. He reminded that the province out of the Rs.550 billion , spend Rs.450 billion on administrative measures and salaries of the employees. This province had an ADP of Rs.110 billion and even out of it Rs. 30 billion had been transferred to the local government system. The remaining Rs. 80 billion were allocated to education, health, communication, energy, agriculture, irrigation, trade & industry, tourism and drinking water, sports and culture and other sectors, adding that because of the lack of resources schemes worth Rs. 500 billion delayed. However, he assured to start construction Nihag Dara highway in one month if the resources allowed. He ordered an inquiry to alleged corruption in the sheringal road corruption. He revealed he will visit Buner on 8th and thereafter would visit Dir Bala alongwith PTI Chairman Imran Khan and would formally announce LarJum Tehsil in the district. He advised the people to help the government in the process of reconstruction. He advised them to promote tax culture that was necessary for the overall prosperity. He said that it was appreciable that the workers of PTI stand for a change. His government brought along a change in the system and the public sector institutions were revamped that was real change. He appealed to the people to join hand for the total elimination of corruption. <><><><><><><>
