The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak hinted at the regularization of contract employees recruited under NTS throughout the province. He directed for recommendations to rationalize law, rules and regulations for the crushing machine, provision of executive allowance to the officers. He also approved the utilization of developmental funds by district administration where the local government system was dysfunctional. He approved a sub-committee to prepare recommendations to implement strictly the sector-wise spending as per the approved formula in all local governments throughout the province. He appreciated the valuable contribution of the outgoing Chief Secretary Abid Saeed. He termed the collective decision-making as key for durable development. He was presiding over the cabinet meeting at Civil Secretariat Peshawar. Provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary and administrative secretaries attended. The Chief Minister in his address, directed to collect details of all contract employees recruited through NTS as his government wanted to find out a way out for the regularization of these employees. He said that the province would be flooded by foreign investors in the near future adding that his government had already made a number of agreements in different sectors with both domestic and foreign investors which were about to be put on ground adding when the development process takes off, the locally available materials would be used at large scale. However, the developmental process should be people and environmental friendly that necessitated to revisit the existing law, rules and regulations under the definite aim to make the developmental process realistic and durable. He asked to give recommendations in order to make the developmental process smooth and durable. The Chief Minister said that collective decision making was necessary for the durable development. He asked all the stakeholders to sincerely become part of the development process. He declared the amendments in the public-private partnership as necessary adding that the CPEC projects were about to be put on ground in the province. His government has already sketched out the principal guidelines for facilitation of investors through attractive attractions that needed to be given legal cover. Pervez Khattak agreed to the sub-committees for rationalizing the power-crushing-laws, the executive allowance to the officers and the proper utilization of resources strictly on sectors under the local government system. He asked the sub-committees to make recommendations in this regard. However, he agreed to the utilization of resources by the district administration transparently in districts and areas where the local government system was dysfunctional. Chief Minister appreciated the valuable contribution of the outgoing Chief Secretary Abid Saeed adding that his tenure has become an exemplary one in the history of the province. Reciprocating the same sentiments, the outgoing Chief Secretary said, he sincerely delivered under the leadership of the Chief Minister adding that his stay in the province was an asset for him. ========
