Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak welcomed the delegation of national development and reforms commission China and its keenness for investment in KP. Pervez Khattak said his government was working on facilitating investment in the province. The province has emerged the most suitable destination for investment adding that the one belt one road Chinese plan would usher in a new era of development that would lead to the benefit of two brotherly countries. It would further cement the already friendly ties between the two countries. Rashakai Industrial Zone is in the center of CPEC route and the most suitable industrial zone. He assured the provincial government would extend all possible help and security to the investors and their investments. The provincial government had already taken a number of steps including the formation of special force for security. He was talking to the delegation of National Development and Reforms Commission (NDRC) of China at Chief Minister House Peshawar. Chief Secretary Abid Saeed, Administrative secretaries and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion. The Chinese delegation included Deputy Secretary General, China Association for Developmental Li Yuan, Deputy Director BRC, Chief Engineer Tina Jin Energy, General Manager CRBC, Deputy Manager CCCC Director of Chinese embassy of Pakistan, representatives of Board of Investment and planning and developmental commission Islamabad. On this occasion the delegation was given a presentation on the CPEC related projects, the investment in these projects, the MoUs agreed on CPEC city, Peshawar Model Town, Circular railway connecting six districts of the province and other projects in energy and power and the natural advantages of the province. The delegation took keen interest in the natural advantages of the province and showed interest to invest in different sectors. Pervez Khattak talked to the delegation and informed them about different advantages of the province in different sectors adding that the government steps has changed the landscape of the province making it the most suitable destination for industrialization and trade. He also referred to his governments steps during the last two years for different advantages and their promotion for investment. He said the one belt one road would have a central role in the development of the whole region adding that Rashakai Industrial Zone was at the center of the route which was fast becoming an attractive destination for investment in the backdrop of CPEC. He told the delegates that the western rout was 500 Km shorter than central route and the JCC in its meeting had approved an alternative route standing from Gilgit Chitral to Dir Chakdara. This would also link Afghanistan and central Asian Republics for trade and commerce. The labour in the province is cheaper than others and therefore the investors could draw maximum benefit in comparison with other areas. He assured there was no security related issue because the provincial government and the security institution have contributed concerted efforts for improved security situation and there was improvement with each passing day. The Pak Army ensured better law & order situation and established the writ of government in Tribal areas. The border management contributed a lot and these efforts led to an ideal law & order and security situation in the province. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has now become the most suitable center for all kind of investment in different sectors, he added. <><><><><><><><>
