Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed the quarters concerned to ensure uninterrupted work on construction/ expansion of Mari-Abbottabad road.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed the quarters concerned to ensure uninterrupted work on construction/ expansion of Mari-Abbottabad road. He also approved inclusion of Changla Gali alternate route in the World Bank assisted projects as well as construction of central road from the provincial own resources. He also directed timely completion of all developmental schemes to avoid escalation in estimates due to unnecessary delay. He was presiding over a high level meeting at Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar. Advisor to CM Mushtaq Ghani, Advisor to CM Akbar Ayub, MPA Sardar Idrees, Advocate General, MD PKHA, administrative secretaries also attended. The meeting was informed about the pace of work and related issues regarding the construction, expansion of Mari-Abbottabad road, Malam Jabba Road, Changla Gali to Islamabad road and dualization of Haripur bypass road. The Chief Minister directed that the concerned authority that works on public welfare oriented projects should not be stopped at any cost. He said that work on developmental schemes should be initiated in time to avoid wastage of money. He also directed to discourage the trend of tendering and re-tendering adding that all projects should be completed at a cost and timeline given in the tender. <><><><><><><><><><>
