Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak met Hungarian Ambassador Istrian Szabo

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak met Hungarian Ambassador Istrian Szabo along with his entourage of diplomat’s trade and commerce attaches at Chief Minister’s House Peshawar and discussed various matters of mutual interest. The entourage included Emilia Szabo Istrian’s, Dr. Istrian Balogh (commercial councellor) Balaz Balogh, (security advisor), Katalin Muller (Trade officer), Saindor Mihalko (consellor), Ms. Magpolna Mihalko and Ghulam Dastagir, Honorary counsellor of Hungary in Peshawar and Chairman EZDMC/CPEC. The mission lauded steps of provincial government for ensuring good governance, improving law & order and creating congenial environment for industrial and trade activities in the province. The Hungarian ambassador also expressed desire of his government for increasing the volume of investment that was already being carried out by the foreign investors of Hungary over here. The Chief Minister, thanked the Hungarian Government for sincere cooperation in accelerating the pace of industrialization and investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He specially mentioned the assistance of Hungarian oil exploration company MOL in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He welcomed the offer of more investment as well as arrival of investors from Hungary for investment in tourism, agriculture, energy, car manufacturing, small & medium enterprises and so many other sectors. He however looked to the Hungarian government to also help the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in early and quality completion of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) being undertaken by his government for Peshawar. Istrian Szabo assured the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for helping in the early completion of RBT Peshawar. He revealed that Hungary has arranged 200 scholarships for Pakistani students in various sectors of higher education wherein Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would get is share. He further told that the emissaries of Hungary have paid detailed visit to various tourist spots and scenic places of the province including Chitral, Hazara and Swat. He said the pictures, videos and data of these hill stations and historical places have been projected world over through social media and other sources of Hungarian embassy. Similarly he said, his entourage in the current tour is visiting various historical places of Peshawar including Qissa Khawani Bazar and Tehsil Gorghatary and also attended a warm reception at Bala Hisar Fort. He said that all these activities would be displayed and showed to the international community to project the soft image of Pakistan accordingly.
