Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed to immediately complete different new and ongoing schemes in district Chitral. These schemes included in Tourism, Health, Education, Communication & Works sectors. He also ordered to complete the intra district roads in Chitral. He also directed to ensure the availability of all healthcare facilities in healthcare institutions and make appointment against the sanction posts in health sector institutions in district Chitral. He was presiding over a meeting on developmental strategy in Chitral district which was attended by MPA Fozia Bibi, administrative secretaries and DC Chitral. The Chief Minister was informed about the status of different schemes. The Chief Minister directed to accelerate the process of providing upgraded facilities under the standardization program for district and Tehsil hospitals. He asked the relevant quarters to prepare details and give it to C&W department so that under the standardization program the missing and other facilities could be created out there in the district and Tehsil hospitals. He also directed to send a complete SNE in this regard. He said that the resources allocated for the development of Chitral could also be used in different ongoing schemes under the definite aim that these activities could contribute to the overall beautification of district Chitral. He said his government wanted to develop Chitral on lines of Naran and Kalam and the allocation of Rs. 143 million should be spent in the already identified schemes. Chitral has tourism potential and his government was working on it. He also approved the Project Director for the Chitral University till the appointment of regular Vice Chancellor. However, in the meanwhile, the Shringal University administration would lookafter the affairs of the university. He also approved rescue1122 in a rented building. On a recommendation of MPA Fozia Bibi for the creation of a new Tehsil, the Chief Minister directed DC Chitral to send a proposal in this regard. =========
