Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak had an important meeting with former President of Pakistan People’s Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and former Provincial Minister Syed Zahir Ali Shah at his resident Peshawar and discussed the political situation in the province and country. The Chief Minister invited Syed Zahir Ali Shah to join PTI adding that PTI needed spotless and honest politicians so that the vision of Imran Khan for change could be strengthened. Syed Zahir Ali Shah said that he would consult with his relatives, friends and workers before making a decision. Pervez Khattak last evening visited the resident of Syed Zahir Ali Shah and had a one to one meeting with him. Both the leaders discussed the emerging political scenario in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar Valley and the country with particular reference to the 2018 elections. Chief Minister talked about his provincial government priorities adding that his government considerably succeeded in eliminating political interference in public sector institutions and achieved the targets in education, health, public complaints redressal, strengthening institutions and more importantly investing in human resource development and providing basic amenities to the poor. He said that the local government system, the reforms in police and Patwar directly benefited the poor. He asked Syed Zahir Ali Shah to join his “Carvan” for the change of Imran Khan. We in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa changing the political land escape of the province adding that PTI would make a comeback with overwhelming majority therefore the PTI needed honest and dedicated politicians. Syed Zahir Ali Shah said that he was a politician and in the political arena one has to keep open the doors. He said he would consult with his friends and workers to make a decision in this regard. <><><><><><>
