Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak Saturday announced a permanent district comprising Kolai and Palas sub-divisions and said that if would unite the citizenry of Kohistan and usher the area into a phase of prosperity and development. Addressing a grand representative jirga of Kohistan, he urged area people to shun differences and promote mutual understanding and reconciliation for their own benefit. He said people of Kohistan should focus their energies to exploit resources of richly endowed area change and change their socio-economic conditions. KP Chief Minister said that unison among people of Kohistan was his utmost desire and the announcement for third district was made as it was the best available option to remove the differences among the people of Kohistan according to their wishes and aspirations. He said that new district was indispensible for the development of the areas as rift and difference were creating hurdles in the development process. He said decision would give impetus to the ongoing development work in Kohistan. Pervez Khattak deplored the performances of previous government for KP and said that countless accomplishments have been achieved by him and provincial government has taken remarkable steps for the development of province including promotion of education and laws against usury and corruption. CM said that he wants that ulema should forward their proposals and suggestions adding provincial government would ensure their implementations.He said that province is heading towards a course of progress and confidence of investors is strengthening adding we would hold a road show in china very soon. He said that we should add 4000 MW of electricity in system before end of tenure that would address poverty by creating employment opportunities through rapid industrialization. He said that PTI would again come to power owing to its performance and record development work. <><><><><><><>
