Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak has said that PTI would emerge as a single largest party as people from all walks of life were reposing confidence over the people friendly policies of PTI this can be judged from the facts that large number of leaders and workers of other parties were joining the ranks and folds of PTI. Chief Minister felicitated PPP Ex-MPA Mehmood Alam from Kohistan who announced joining PTI alongwith family members and hundreds of friends, colleagues and workers. This he said while talking to a hundred members representative delegation of Tehsil Dassu District Kohistan at Chief Minister House Peshawar. MPAs Maluana Asmatullah, Shuakat Yousafzai, PTI Divisional President Zar Gul Khan, Ex-MNA Gilgit Baltistan Hamayatullah Khan, Rozi Khan Advocate, Tehsil Nazim Noor Wali Shah were also present on the occasion.
The Ex-MPA who joined PTI today is the brother of Ex District Nazim Dr. Saifur Rehman and has a wide political influence in the whole district.
Chief Minister assured the new entrants that they would regret their decision to coming to the fold of PTI adding that his government always gave prirority to reform the system, it legislated the entire system of governance in order to give relief to the people. He said that PTI was not oblivious to the problems of the commoners and it was doing all within its power for public welfare. He said that the revamped system started delivering in consonance with public aspiration. He reminded that his government upheld the supremacy of law and merit, it depoliticized institutions and let them focus on the primary objectives for which these institution were created. We have set the foundation for progress and prosperity of the province and the people and resources were being spent on the welfare of the masses. He assured total transparency and good governance. It was the responsibility of people to strengthen the present dispensation directed towards the public welfare.
Chief Minister said that provision of education and health facilities, reforming Thana culture and giving justice to all were the top priority areas and the PTI government was working on them adding that PTI devolved powers to the grass root level, 30% of development budget was transferred to the local government system so that the people could make their own decision under the devolved system of governance.
