Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that progress, prosperity and development of backward areas to bring it at par with developed one was the top most priority of his government.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that progress, prosperity and development of backward areas to bring it at par with developed one was the top most priority of his government. Elected representatives and elites of Kohistan should sit together and demonstrate unity for solution of their long standing issues. They should prioritize their demands and submit him a comprehensive plan in written shape. Government will take all measures for redressal of their grievances. He was talking to representative delegation of district Kohistan led by President PTI Zargul Khan and comprising MPA Muhammad Asmatullah PK-62, local leaders of different political parties including PTI, ANP, MQM, QWP and members of reconciliatory committee. The delegation while appreciating the keen interest of provincial government in development of backward areas, apprised the Chief Minister of various problems. Chief Minister said that no one paid any heed to long standing issues of district Kohistan which was deprived of basic amenities of life from past seventy years. His government believed in resolving problems of backward areas at their door steps. He called upon the elites of the area to demonstrate unity in their ranks and make collective and coordinated efforts to remove the sense of deprivation in the backward area of Kohistan and submit him a detailed report. Government will take all possible measures to resolve their long standings issues on priority basis. <><><><><><>
