Immediately providing fifty kanal public land required by Pakistan Autonomic Energy Commission for establishment of a model cancer hospital in Chitral

Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice Retd. Dost Muhammad Khan has directed to immediately provide fifty kanal public land required by Pakistan Autonomic Energy Commission for establishment of a model cancer hospital in Chitral. He said that Chitral was comparatively a backward district. The government should have to provide efficient healthcare and educational facilities to the citizens of backward districts like Chitral. He was talking to the member of Pakistan Autonomic Energy Commission and ex-additional Auditor General of Pakistan Najeebullah Khan Marwat who called on him at Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar. Najeebullah Khan Marwat briefed the Caretaker Chief Minister about the proposed project of cancer hospital at Chitral. He informed that all the arrangements and survey had already been completed for project, however, he told that provision of public land was still required. Caretaker Chief Minister directed the authorities concerned to resolve the issue of land on priority basis. Directing against any delay in the provision of required land, he said that caretaker government wants fast track completion of the projects in public interest and will provide its all out support in this regard. Justice ® Dost Muhammad Khan said that we have to introduce a good governance system in the province adding that we should have to learn from developed countries in this regard. We are accountable to the public. The elements of accountability and discipline in the public sector institutions were the prerequisites to the good governance that was why the founder of Pakistan had also underlined the need of discipline. He said if the government has commitment, the institutions can be put on the right track. The caretaker government wants to leave behind a road map that would lead to the prosperous and a developed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he added.
