• The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions (Amendment) Act, 2018 passed by the provincial assembly and notified in the official gazette
• The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Regional and District Health Authority Bill, 2019 approved by the provincial cabinet and under process for placement of the same before the provincial assembly
• The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority (Amendment) Bill 2019 prepared, vetted by Law Department and now under advice of Finance Department
Social Health Protection
• A total of 25610 patients treated under the SHPI programme with a total cost of PKR 611,159,451/-
• Procurement of Insurance Company for the Period beyond June 30, 2019
• Expansion to newly merged districts (ex-FATA)
• Cards being distributed under the Federal PC-I as per decision of the Federal Steering Committee meeting held in October 2018

Human Resource Management

Newly Merged Districts
• Merger of Directorate of Health Services of NMDs with the Health Department.
• Extension of IMU to the NMDs.
Strengthening of Drug Control & Pharmacy Services by Establishment of a Separate Directorate
Polio Eradication Initiative
To stop transmission of polio virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
• All the scheduled Supplementary Immunization Activities implemented
• Merger of NMDs completed successfully with provincial polio eradication programme
• Peshawar Action Plan is finalized and rolled out
• Two external and eight internal surveillance reviews
• Well-functioning security structures established under NEAP
• Population linkage survey completed in Northern Corridor districts
Development Schemes
• 47 schemes have been approved (42 from PDWP & 5 from DDWP)

• Completion of Burn & Trauma Center at Hayatabad Peshawar
Medical Education
• Recognition of Gajju Khan Medical College Swabi by PMDC

• Creation of 520 post of newly constructed Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital
• Summary for creation of 7 posts of (BS-20) In Health Management Cadre submitted to CM for approval
