The leadership of our country should take a leaf from history of successful nations in the community of world and solve the ongoing complexities in a more wiser and peaceful manner by transforming the entire social and economic system in accordance with the ideological base of Pakistan, i.e. Objective Resolution and as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had envisaged in its manifesto, said the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak.
In his exclusive message on the eve of Pakistan Day, he said that people of Pakistan have rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the present challenging times for the cause national solidarity and braved terrorism with outstanding courage and fortitude that would be a glowing chapter in the history of our nation. He said the tragic incident of Army Public School and others like this compel us to also find other ways for solution of this deadly and crippling problem. He also stressed the need for sincere and joint struggle adding that peace could hardly be restored through mere fighting war along. Citing an example of the South African leadership who so wisely and peacefully settled a very complex phenomena and avoided destruction for bringing peace and rights to the whole nation, he said difficulties do come in the history of nations but those having big brains and hearts could solve them successfully. The Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said that Pakistan day is the day of reiterating our commitment to make our dear motherland, Pakistan, strong and stable, and purge it from corruption and all kinds of other liabilities including economic and political instability etc.
He said that PTI-led coalition government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has resolved to give the present and future generations a peaceful and developed province free from crimes, terror and extremism. “Joint efforts of top leadership above all political expediencies are need of the hour to pull Pakistan out of the prevailing daunting challenges and crises in a successful manner”, he maintained
Pervez Khattak said that our national history was testimony to the fact that supremacy of constitution, the rule of law, policies for maintaining merit and the dream for a just and welfare society has always been shattered in the past by conspirators and exploitative forces while the unfortunate people of the country have to bear its brunt all along. The ongoing unrest, extremism and terrorism is the outcome of those unjust policies and steps of the previous governments.
He said the PTI Provincial government has initiated radical measures to purge the public sector departments from the menaces of corruption and creating a sense of responsibility among the official machinery enabling it to better serve the masses in a spirit of the objectives of creation of Pakistan. It has also adopted a positive approach in the right direction with active support of the people to end terrorism, maintain durable peace and foil the conspiracies against peace in the region.
He said it is high time that all the political and religious leadership and other relevant quarters should read writing on the wall and take a united stand to control the ongoing bloodshed in every nook and corner of the country, revive the terror hit economy and restoring a durable peace to set the country again on the path to development and prosperity, he added.
He stressed that that strenuous efforts for achieving this goal was in-fact essential part of the Pakistan Resolution on basis of which this an independent country of Pakistan has come into being.
Dilating upon his role Mr. Khattak said, “I am strictly pursuing my party manifesto to evolve consistent policies with legislative cover to get the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rid of all kinds of economic, political and social slaveries and let them have the fruits of real freedom as well as restore their shattered confidence in government departments by improving its performance considerably”.
