The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said his government was converting 4000 mosques on solar energy throughout the province. The government he added was also contemplating to pay the Pesh Imam of mosques in order to resolve the twin problem both of load-shedding and financially supporting the Pesh Imam of all mosques throughout the province. He was talking to a delegation of Shangla led by MPA Shuakat Ali Yousafzai and provincial Minister Abdul Munim Khan at Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar. The Chief Minister assured to promote Kaper Banda on tourism lines and provide necessary infrastructure to attract tourists to the area. He further assured provision of resources for the road and infrastructure development in the area in order to improve the economic condition of the locals. Pervez Khattak assured that health sector development would continue to be the priority area of his government and he would ensure healthcare facilities to the locals. However he disagreed with the quota for the people of the area in medical and engineering colleges adding that it would kill the very spirit of merit and would lead to open and window for favoritism an corruption. His government wanted the rule of law and justice to everyone, he added. He was optimistic that CPEC would provide better economic opportunities to the people of Shangla and assured that the qualified students of the Shangla would be sent to China for learning Chinese language. He further assured a graveyard, provided, the local people arranged land. He also directed for the resolution of the genuine problems raised at the occasion. The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for taking keen interest in the resolution of their problems and assured all out support to the government in its reforms agenda. <><><><>
