Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed for the identification of 300 to 500 kanal of land for dedicated graveyard

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed for the identification of 300 to 500 kanal of land for dedicated graveyard for the whole of Peshawar city on the pattern of Islamabad graveyard. He further directed to make necessary preparation for giving legal cover to the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell following its impressive performance for dispute resolution, recovery of Rs. one billion and giving it back to the complainants. These directives he gave during his surprise visit to Chief Minister’s Complaints Cell at Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar. Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mian Jamshaiduddin, MPAs Shaukat Yousafzai, Arbab Jehandad Khan, administrative secretaries and others also accompanied the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister attended a number of complaints directly from the complainants through telephone calls and issued directives to take a legal course for the resolution of the problems of the complainants. Chairman Chief Minister Complaints Cell, Dil Roz Khan briefed the Chief Minister about the working of his Complaints Cell and dispute resolution mechanism, the recovery made in the process and giving back to the complainants. The Chief Minister was further informed that the complaints cell recovered more than Rs. One billion from different people’s through a dispute resolution mechanism and legal intervention of the complaints cell. He also informed that the cell settled 22000 petty nature cases of poor people. Chief Minister directed that the provincial ministers must visit the complaints cell to address to the grievances of the people adding that his government would never allow any space for corruption and corrupt practices. His government, he added, eliminated favoritism and introduced a transparency system of governance in the province that was real change and the people heaved a sigh of relief as they had gone hopeless because of the corruption, corrupt practices, corrupt and politicized Patwar and police system in the past. Pervez Khattak directed not to transfer the corrupt elements but show them the door that was the only solution to stop the spread of wrongs in the society, adding that doing justice was a sacred task but it should be visible too that his government made through a transparent system of governance in the province. He appreciated the complaints cell declaring it a true channel but added that it was underutilized and directed for full utilization of the cell for the complaints redressal system. He called upon the people to come forward register their complaints but their complaints must be supported by proof and assured his government would spare no moment for a stern action against the corruption and corrupt practices. ====
