The project costing Rs. 120 billion would be shared by the provincial and federal government as 35% and 65% respectively that would irrigate 2 lac 86 thousand acre of barren land and which he added was the logical destination for the province to get food autarky. The Chief Minister reminded the audience of his efforts for convincing the federal government to provide its surplus natural gas to the province for its new industrial obligations in the province. He lamented the province was kept in the dark on CPEC but he pulled his sleeves, fought it out and made western rout part of the CPEC. We also succeeded to bring 24 billion $ of investment in the province and approved linking Jand with Kohat via motorway. The PSDP also approved a railway track from Peshawar to D.I.Khan, he added. He said his government inked 82 projects including the industrial estates at Hattar, Rashakai and D.I.Khan in the Beijing Road Show.
