The Islamabad based Ambassador of Denmark Ole Thonke called on the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak on Friday evening.

The Islamabad based Ambassador of Denmark Ole Thonke called on the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak on Friday evening. They discussed matters of mutual cooperation particularly Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), with reference to mineral exploration, environmental protection, trade and the development of KP. Secretary Minerals Development Department Zaheerul Islam and the chairman Fatima Group of Industries Fawad Ahmad Mukhtar were also present on the occasion. It is worth mentioning that the present government in KP has enacted such legislations followed by formulation of comprehensive polices based on equal opportunities, transparency and easy access that investors from all over the world are attracted. The Provincial Government is expected to hand over lease agreements to as many as 13 investors for installation of cement factories and other such mineral exploration activities on Monday. The offer/applications of investment by these groups had been properly, openly and transparently processed and awarded on competitive basis. Besides contributing to the provincial resources, the investment will provide millions of direct jobs to the people within a short span of time. =======
