Chief Minister Message on Quaid Azam Day


            The Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that durable peace, prosperity and progress is possible with strictly following the golden principles of Quiad-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah i.e faith, unity and discipline.
In his message to the nation on the birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan, the Chief Minister assured the people of the province to have full confidence in their elected government as he said that it was taking all out measures to ensure peace, safety and prosperity of the people by practicing the Quaid’s teachings in letter spirit.
 Pervez Khattak said that the best way to pay homage to Quaid-e-Azam was to maintain complete unity and solidarity among our ranks by leaving aside all our petty interests. He said we have to utilize all our capabilities to bring the nation at par with other developed nations of the world. He said that due to the ill-conceived policies in the past, our country faced a very critical and challenging situation. He added that though the provincial government was making all possible efforts for the restoration of lasting peace in the region but it was not possible until and unless our geographical borders are duly secured and foreign policy revisited as per national interests wherein there are close contacts of KP govt with center for the purpose, he added. He expressed the hope that the federal government in the light of the recommendations of the APC in Peshawar and as per the aspirations of the nation would take bold steps to secure the country and nation in all respects.
Pervez Khattak recalled that the Peshawar school incident awakened the entire nation and stirred conscience of the world community to understand real problem of Pakistani nation in respect of terrorism. He said the presence of millions of Afghan refugees at our soil is main reason of persistent occurrences of terror, unrest and crimes incidents who are not only used by miscreants as the facilitators for such misdeeds but they have manifold increased the pressure on our feeble economy and meager available resources. He said the govt both at provincial and central level would take steps to immediately expel all the illegal Afghan Refugees whereas evolve modus operandi for honourable repatriation of legal Afghan Refugees staying here as soon as possible. Similarly our borders with FATA also needed immediate attention to secure KP and rest of the country from infiltration of miscreants wherein sending back and deployment of the FC platoons at FATA borders was prerequisite and this issue is also being addressed properly.  
The Chief Minister assured that his government would make all out efforts to restore peace in the province apart from eliminating the government machinery from corruption and bringing about pleasant changes in economic, social, political, cultural and educational sectors. He appealed the people to shoulder the government efforts in this regard and demonstrate complete unity in their ranks so that Pakistan could be turned into a real welfare, democratic, peaceful and developed country as per vision of the Quiad-e-Azam.
